|Greg Norman Makes FOX Sports Debut|
On Saturday, December 13th, FOX Sports launched its way into golf with the final round broadcast of the Franklin Templeton Shootout. This historical day was highlighted by the debut of Greg Norman & Joe Buck in the 18th tower announce booth. Alongside Norman & Buck, FOX rounded out their Shootout broadcast team with three-time Shootout champion Brad Faxon, former PGA TOUR professionals Scott McCarron & Steve Flesch, PGA teaching professional E.A. Tischler and former Executive Director of the USGA David Fay.|
During the four hour live broadcast, an international television audience was treated to FOX's new and innovative approach to golf broadcasting. In addition, golf fans got a sneak preview of some of the technologies that will be rolled out in full force this coming June at Chambers Bay when FOX televises the 2015 U.S. Open Championship.

|Shark Shootout Rewind|
This year marked the 26th anniversary of the Franklin Templeton Shootout. The success of this tournament has grown with age which is a testament to the sponsors, players and the city of Naples alike. It has always been a unique event at the end of a long season that brings together world-class talent in a casual but competitive atmosphere, to raise awareness and research dollars for childhood cancer through CureSearch.|
This year showcased one of the strongest and most diverse fields in the tournament’s history. The 24-player lineup featured eight of the top 30 players in the world, FedEx Cup champion Billy Horschel, six 2014 Ryder Cup participants, five major championship winners and seven international players. As a whole, the group had accumulated 115 PGA TOUR career victories! The experience and inherent competitiveness of this field made for interesting pairings, extremely diverse teammate dynamics and a level of competition that was captivating.
Saturday's action included momentum swings, numerous ties for the lead and memorable shots off the green. Three hours into the tournament, there was a three-way tie at 25-under with nine teams within three shots. An hour later, six players were within a shot of the lead.
Jason Day and Cameron Tringale overcame a slow start Saturday to eventually claim victory by one stroke. Leading by three shots going into the final round, they had just one birdie in the first eight holes before closing with six in their last nine. They ultimately shot a 7-under 65 in the better-ball final round to finish at 32-under.
Matt Kuchar and Harris English, the 2013 winners, finished second and the teams of Billy Horschel-Ian Poulter and Keegan Bradley-Camilo Villegas tied for third at 29-under.

|The Shark's Side of the Holidays|
My wife Kirsten and I just returned from an incredible holiday in Queensland, Australia and Huka Falls Taupo on the North Island then down to Queenstown on the South Island of New Zealand. It was so refreshing to take two weeks off to unwind and spend quality time in one of the most beautiful places in the world. |
Christmas at the iconic and renowned Huka Lodge was perfection. In all my 40+ years of travel, I have never experienced a destination that captured the attention to detail to such impeccable standards. We spent the day enjoying the stunningly picturesque scenery on a 10k hike, playing tennis and relaxing with our feet up on the bank of Waikato River in Kiwiland. The rest of our stay was spent doing everything we love in the great outdoors. The days passed with fly fishing the Rangitikei River, learning war dances with the Maori Tuwharetoa tribesmen and climbing an active volcano!

The next stop on our #AttackLife trip was Queenstown to ring in the New Year. We tackled The Remarkables, completed a 134m bungy jump and enjoyed one of the best meals of my life at Amisfield Winery in Arrowtown.
We enjoyed the crisp, delicious New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc so much that we decided to source some grapes for a Greg Norman Estates varietal to launch later this year. More to come on that!
Coming home from such a once-in-a-lifetime trip inspires and motivates me for the infinite possibilities in 2015. I will be turning 60 next month and have honestly never felt better. I encourage you to also be the captain of your own ship and #AttackLife this year!
